I’m originally from India/Portugal. I enjoy cooking and tailoring is also one of my favourite pastimes whenever I have free time. I am passionate about assisting those who need help the most in their home to achieve independence regardless of their age, religion or background.

Through my years of experience learnt how to pay attention to detail and developed effective communication skills, how to work quickly, multitask and manage time and keep to a schedule.

Hi, my name is Yasmin and I am currently studying to be a nurse at Kingston University. I have worked in a variety of roles during my working years and I mostly enjoy being a care worker. I like to help others as I am a kind and passionate person.

I am very active and enjoy playing sports such as football, tennis and basketball. I also enjoy reading and going out to eat with my friend and family.

I have worked with Disabled Association in which I’ve learned how to use riding in a therapeutic way for people with autism starting from the young age of 5 until the age of 50. After that, I continued seeking experience and I volunteered in a care centre for the summer months back in my country. I was responsible for adolescents and adult with autism and mental health issues. I was supporting them in daily activities such as sport, music etc.

I have a degree based on Psychology of Clinical and Health. Also, I can speak three different languages.
